Solution Provider Commitments
- Dedicate a formal organizational team to sell and support document management and imaging technologies, including the OnBaseŽ enterprise content management software system.
- Maintain an in-house OnBase demonstration system, including all hardware and software necessary to effectively show prospective customers the full capabilities of the system.
- Utilize an outside sales force in a face-to-face selling environment directly with end-users.
- Provide end-user customer service and support, and serve as the first line of communication with OnBase customers.
- Qualify as an Authorized OnBase Support Centre by employing at least two Certified OnBase Installers.
- Conduct a thorough needs analysis for every prospective customer before recommending an OnBase solution.
- Include as part of a proposed OnBase solution a Functional
- Specification document that details exactly how the system will meet all customer requirements. Include all appropriate OnBase modules, hardware (servers, workstations, storage, network, scanners, printers), and software (operating system, database, utilities) necessary to achieve the results specified in the Functional Specification.
- Confirm the required installation environment exists prior to installation of the system. Upon completion of installation, provide sufficient training for the customer's system administrators and users.
- Ensure that the customer understands Hyland Software's warranty and the procedure for receiving support from both the Reseller and Hyland Software. Fully support all OnBase product guarantees. Cooperate with Hyland Software to ensure that any end-user problems or issues are promptly and fully resolved.
- Maintain sufficient customer information to enable contact in instances of product updates and/or maintenance.
- Market Hyland Software products to end-users only located in the United States, unless otherwise contractually agreed upon with Hyland Software, Inc.
- Apply sufficient organisational focus and resources to insure significant annual software sales of Hyland Software.
